Envestnet's Latest Platform Upgrades Help Foster Meaningful Client Relationships, Better Outcomes
CHICAGO, Dec. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Envestnet (NYSE: ENV) recently released the latest technology enhancements for its comprehensive wealth management platform. Product and development teams worked together on more than 400 projects across 3,000+ developer days to plan, build and execute hundreds of platform updates to improve the experience for all types of Envestnet users.
"This latest round of enhancements to the Envestnet platform delivers more meaningful and powerful functionality for our users and their clients," said Blake Wood, Senior Vice President, Director Product Strategy at Envestnet. "By regularly reviewing and updating our advanced technology offerings, Envestnet is committed to providing enterprises and advisors with the necessary tools to better understand their clients' financial picture."
The latest release features strategic and impactful updates, including:
- Integration with SaleMove: Envestnet's new co-browsing and video integration with SaleMove reshapes how advisors and clients communicate to foster a more collaborative advisor-client experience. Now live, not only does the integration provide another way for advisors to quickly address client questions on the Envestnet platform, but Envestnet's service and support teams will also have their own version to assist advisors.
- Deeper Client Portal Connectivity with Yodlee: One of the more powerful features in the Client Portal are the Yodlee applications that provide clients with an intuitive and informative look into their full financial picture. Envestnet is improving the Yodlee user experience by implementing the FastLink 3.0 workflow for aggregating accounts, which makes it easier for advisors to identify financial institutions, add credentials and link accounts, and confirm when everything is complete and available on the Client Portal. With this latest release, the advisor can also control the availability of individual Financial Wellness Solutions. Finally, Envestnet is adding a new application called OK to Spend that enables clients to see their upcoming recurring expenses, paycheck deposits, financial events and projected balances on future dates in a centralized calendar view.
- Advanced Financial Planning Capabilities: Envestnet is offering two more options for advisors in addition to its standard methodology for calculating the plan probability number for the likelihood of a financial plan being able to satisfy all of a client's goals. Plan probability can now also be determined using the "traditional" method (successful simulations divided by the total number of simulations) and the weighted priority of goal probabilities. This provides advisors with a plan output that aligns with their approach to planning. With the addition of the equity compensation feature, advisors will also now have the ability to model different share exercise and sale options to incorporate into plan scenarios with Advanced Logix. The equity compensation analysis can be used as a strategy within plan scenarios, as well.
- Report Customization and Availability: By adding more report content options and flexibility for delivery, Envestnet's Quarterly Performance Reports (QPR) can now be customized to incorporate other firm documents alongside the reports selected in the template. QPRs can also be generated at a group level, rather than only at the client household level, which helps generate a more effective report with only the most relevant information included. Additionally, clients will now be able to access individual performance reports directly from their site.
The features detailed above are available on the Envestnet platform starting today. In addition to these enhancements, Envestnet completed a significant amount of development on its other strategic initiatives, including core functionality for the Envestnet Insurance Exchange (which now enables solicitation of a pilot user group), new integrations and APIs through Open ENV, and establishing a framework for expanding the capabilities of the new advisor experience and enhanced trading modules like Single Portfolio Trading.
